Team Goh returns to Super Formula in 2026 with a single Toyota-powered entry, following a two-season absence. The programme begins with the post‑season Suzuka test on December 10–12.
The revived outfit, led by Kazumichi Goh, shifts from its 2022 Honda alignment to Toyota power. The move aligns with Toyota’s deepening junior-driver pathway in Japan.
Charlie Wurz is expected to conduct the Suzuka running and is the leading contender for the 2026 race seat. Final driver confirmation remains pending.

Goh last raced in 2022 with Red Bull-backed rookies Ren Sato and Atsushi Miyake, operating a two-car squad. Each scored a single podium before the programme was restructured.
For 2023, the entry evolved into TGM Grand Prix as Red Bull returned to Mugen. TGM then switched from Honda to Toyota engines for 2025 to support Toyota’s development goals.
In 2026, Team Goh operates alongside TGM, creating a two-pronged Toyota presence. TGM fields Kamui Kobayashi and Super Formula Lights graduate Rikuto Kobayashi.
That structure could sharpen intra-camp competition while broadening testing and setup resources. One-car entries often trade race-day flexibility for a focused development path.

The Suzuka test features 33 confirmed drivers from 36 available seats, offering a broad reference for performance. Team Goh plans to run one car across all three days.
Kondo Racing rotates its #4 entry, with Teppei Natori on day one, then Luke Browning on days two and three after his Formula 1 running in Abu Dhabi.
Kondo’s #3 car remains listed as to be named. Browning and former Alpine Formula 1 driver Jack Doohan are expected contenders for Kondo’s 2026 plans.
TOM’S introduces rookie drivers on day three, leaving two Toyota-powered seats marked TBN for that session. Sho Tsuboi and Sacha Fenestraz handle the first two days.
World Rally Champion Kalle Rovanperä debuts with KCMG across all sessions, adding profile and cross-discipline interest to the test.
Super Formula Lights champion Yuto Nomura prepares for a 2026 B-Max Racing seat and participates at Suzuka. Tokiya Suzuki and Zach David also gain mileage.
For Team Goh, the priority is re-establishing operational cadence and correlation with Toyota’s systems. A clean, efficient test will frame its 2026 baseline.
The return strengthens Super Formula’s depth and international visibility. If Wurz converts testing promise into race pace, Goh could re-emerge as a consistent points threat.
