Prock, Force, Anderson, Herrera Secure Top Spot at Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals

Austin Prock claims his seventh No. 1 qualifier of 2025 with a 3.885-second, 335.23 mph run on Saturday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Brittany Force, Greg Anderson and Gaige Herrera also lead.

The performance headlines qualifying at the 25th Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection, round 19 of 20 in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, and the fifth Countdown playoff event. Eliminations begin 11 a.m. PT Sunday.

Driving the 12,000-hp Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS, Prock improves in the final session to secure his 22nd Funny Car No. 1 since debuting in the class early 2024.

Greg Anderson tops both Pro Stock sessions, clocking 6.572 at 206.76 in his HendrickCars Chevrolet Camaro to depose provisional leader Cory Reed. It is his eighth No. 1 of 2025 and 140th career.

Anderson targets points leader and teammate Dallas Glenn in the Countdown fight. He opens eliminations against Troy Coughlin Jr. and needs Saturday’s form to translate under pressure.

Gaige Herrera leads Pro Stock Motorcycle with a 6.800 at 199.17 from Friday on his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki, his eighth No. 1 of the year.

The two-time champion chases points leader Richard Gadson and a third straight Las Vegas win. He meets Karen Stoffer in round one.

Angie Smith qualifies second at 6.824 and 198.82. Brayden Davis is third with 6.826 at 199.14.
