He claims the 660 Man trophy by delivering a .005 light and a 4.147 at 170.43 mph in the final, beating Kyle Salminen’s 4.212 at 170.30 mph.

The result caps his step from Pro Jr. Dragster, while managing two cars this season. He credits a cohesive crew and partners for a car that repeats and responds.

Hoyle qualifies fourth, then sets the tone in round one with a 4.121 at 171.62 mph to edge Nicole Liberty’s 4.166, confirming confidence in the baseline.

He is the only driver into the 4.10s in round two, posting a 4.167 at 170.08 mph as Walter Lannigan slows to a 5.297, underlining pace and drivability.

A holeshot decides the semifinal against two-time champion Jeff Melnick. Hoyle’s 4.157 at 170.64 mph outdrags Melnick’s quicker 4.156, spotlighting start-line discipline.

Near-perfect .005 reaction time delivers the final-round edge.

Salminen, a spring Virginia winner in a Musi-powered ’03 Cavalier, advances with a holeshot 4.186 at 170.99 mph over rookie Jeff Pittman’s faster 4.130 at 180.00 mph.

He continues with a 4.220 at 170.32 mph over Brian Clauss’s 4.283, then records a 4.217 at 170.62 mph on a semifinal bye, but cannot overturn Hoyle’s launch advantage.

Hoyle attributes the leap to collective execution. ATI, Nitrous Outlet, Pat Musi Racing Engines, Maxima Racing Oil, Meziere Enterprises, Chris Rini, and Red Hat Mafia support a repeatable, competitive package.

Holeshot over Jeff Melnick highlights Hoyle’s start-line discipline.

Within Pro 632 competition, marginal gains often sit at the tree. Hoyle’s consistency and the team’s adjustments convert qualifying promise into race-day control.

Elsewhere, Alan Drinkwater, Ethan Steding, Jason Harris, and Marcus Butner secure class titles, rounding out a competitive finale that frames storylines for next season’s drag racing calendar.

Rookie season ends with first career Pro 632 victory at the World Finals.

Hoyle’s breakthrough signals intent for 2026. With momentum at Virginia Motorsports Park and a settled operation, he enters Pro 632 competition as a consistent threat.
