Rajah Caruth will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Kansas Speedway, driving Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 17 Chevrolet. The Spire Motorsports Truck contender adds an intermediate-track audition to his 2025 schedule.
It will be his third Xfinity start of 2025, and his second outing in the No. 17. He last raced it at Phoenix in 2023, finishing 14th.
Across 21 Xfinity starts, Caruth’s best result is 12th at Martinsville in 2022. The 23-year-old couples that experience with Truck wins at Las Vegas 2024 and Nashville 2025.

He is contesting the 2025 Truck championship with Spire, having finished seventh in points last season. HendrickCars.com continues to support his Truck program, strengthening ties to Hendrick’s Xfinity effort.
Kansas suits Hendrick’s No. 17 program. The entry rotates elite and emerging talent, and arrives for its 17th start of 2025 with wins from Kyle Larson and William Byron.
Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, Corey Day, and Jake Finch have also driven the car. That rotation spans top NASCAR drivers and rising prospects.
For Caruth, the task is execution on a fast, low-deg 1.5-mile. Track position, clean restarts, and long-run tyre management typically decide Kansas weekends in Xfinity trim.
He says he is a different driver since his prior Hendrick start. The blend of Truck mileage and selective Xfinity runs should quicken adaptation to the Chevrolet’s aero and braking characteristics.
Hendrick’s Xfinity operation functions as a high-yield, part-time platform. It balances development with race-winning expectations, mirroring Cup standards for preparation, pit work, and equipment, including fire suits.
The Kansas opportunity aligns with Caruth’s long-term aim to become a multi-series contender. Strong execution here would reinforce momentum in Trucks while expanding his Xfinity credentials with a flagship organisation.
